Obukan Kata Tournament Portland, OR March 21, 2025

This weekend is the Obukan’s 69th annual tournament. On Friday the 21st, the kata (forms) portion was held. Competing for Shipyard Judo were Brynn and Haley in the both Nage no Kata (Forms of Throwing) and Ju no Kata (Forms of Gentleness). Coach Rob went up with them as support.

We are happy to announce that Haley and Brynn won first place in both kata.
