Obukan Tournament Portland, OR March 22, 2025

This Saturday was the Obukan’s 69th annual tournament and Shipyard had a lot of representation this year. We had eight kids competing and three adults. For the kids we had Owen, Rye, Jordan, Julian, Rhett, Kellen, Dizzy (in two divisions) and Jasper. For the adults we had Sabrina, Kyle, and Channc. Coaches Tony, Clayton, and Rob were there for support and Sabrina helped out a lot as well. Eight kids is a lot to look after.

Julian, Owen, Kellen, Rye, and Jordan all fought hard but ended up going 0-2 each. Jasper also fought hard to go 1-2. In Dizzy’s two divisions she went 2-3 to place second in both divisions. Rhett went 2-0 to win his division.

For the adults, Kyle went 1-1 to get second place in his division and Sabrina went 2-0 to win her division. Channc fought really hard and went 2-2 to just miss out on a third place in his division.
