The Rainier Cup Lakewood, WA October 4, 2025

Over the weekend Shipyard set three members to compete at the annual Rainier cup: coach Sabrina, Dizzy, and Channc. Sabrina competed in three divisions, Channc in two, and Dizzy in one. Channc did really well but came up short of placing in both divisions. Sabrina competed in the lightweight division but came up short in each of her matches. In the next level up, she won all her matches and took gold. Then in the open heavyweight division, she only lost one match to take silver. Dizzy won all her matches and took gold her her division. Because of Sabrina’s gold medal, she was eligible to compete in the actual open cup. She won one match there then was knocked out of competition in in her second match.
