Pan American Judo Confederation Recognition February 14, 2026

The Pan American Judo Confederation (PJC) through its Recognition Commission, announced the official list of nominees for the 2025 Annual Awards. These awards aim to recognize the athletes, coaches, and referees who have demonstrated exceptional sporting performance, contributed to the development of judo, and embodied the values of Professor Jigoro Kano during the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025.

Among those nominated were Brynn and Haley for their terrific performance throughout the year 2025. On February 14th it was announced that they won the award from the PJC for their contribution to the judo world through kata (forms).

Congratulations to Haley and Brynn for their recognition through the PJC and through USA Judo and for representing the United States (and Shipyard) throughout their kata exploits.

And while he did not win the PJC award, our Coach Rob was also nominated for his role as their coach and there should be some recognition that he was considered.
