Grants Pass, OR April 29, 2023 Scrimmage

This year we sent one competitor and one coach down to Grants Pass for their annual tournament/scrimmage. Sabrina was our lone competitor and Coach Clayton was there for support.

Together they braved 90 degree heat to partake. Sabrina ended up with 5 matches. She got countered and lost her first match but then went on a tear to win the next 4 matches in a row. She was even pulled off a picture perfect version of her favorite throw, drop-knee seoi nage and ended up winning each match by different techniques, showing her depth as a competitor. She ended up taking first place.
